Summer's here, and with it, commuting! Commuting and free time! So, with that in mind, I'm officially opening commissions.

Here's how it works: the base price (in bold text) is how much a nice, clean pencil drawing with a simple background will cost. Anything additional will up the price a little bit. (It's like buying a cheeseburger and then adding bacon!) The base prices are different depending on how much of the character's body you want me to draw: bust, half-body, or full body. Anything not mentioned is negotiable.

Bust: $5/character

+ $5 - ink
+ $5 - color (watercolor or CG)
+ $10 - ink and color
+ $5 - complex background

Half-body: $10/character

+ $10 - ink
+ $10 - color (watercolor or CG)
+ $15 - ink and color
+ $10 - complex background

Full-body: $15/character

+ $10 - ink
+ $10 - color (watercolor or CG)
+ $15 - ink and color
+ $15 - complex background

Limitations:

Anything goes in terms of fanart, original characters, or pairings (variety is fun!). My rule is: if deviantART doesn't allow it, I won't draw it. If you want to use your commission commercially (selling prints, for example), you must let me know so that we can negotiate an appropriate price.

Procedure:

So here's what you do!

1. Note me with information - what kind of commission you want, characters, style, and links to reference pictures if necessary. Feel free to include as much or as little detail as you want, but remember, I cannot read minds (damn!). Please ask questions if you're unsure of anything!

2. I'll send you a rough sketch or two so you can get an idea of what I'm thinking. If you have questions or suggestions, now's the best time to voice them. I'll revise as many times as necessary (within reason).

3. Once you've approved the rough sketch, I'll ask you to send me the payment via Paypal.

4. After the payment is received, and your commission is complete, I'll send you the high-resolution file in your preferred format. If you'd like to have the physical piece of art, I'll ask you to pay shipping and handling (I live in New York). Hurray!

Throughout the whole process, I will update you on my progress. Approximately one week should pass between the approval of the rough sketch and the commission's completion - more if the project is complex, less if it's simple.
